Though it isn't exactly my favorite style of music it was a blast. 1,2 million people (!) entered the city and party'd together.

Been to the Rolling Stones show in Düsseldorf yesterday. After the Frankfurt fiasco a few months prior (nosebleeding seats, poor sound, the band was weak and the whole atmosphere wasn't as good as usually at Stones shows) this was a hell of a concert! It's the biggest show on earth. Simple as that. The Stones were on fire and so was the audience. Everything was perfect!







Unfortunately the planned support act Amy Winehouse couldn't make it to the show since she has serious health problems caused by a drug overdose. But they've found an extremely good replacement for her. The Answer from Ireland (www.theanswer.ie). Old school rock 'n roll band, kinda like Led Zeppelin, The Who etc. Bad ass! They rocked the house! Check 'em out.

A good friend and myself have been to Schloß Wolfskuhlen. Once a beautiful estate built in 1800, there is not much more left than a ruin and a huge basement but it's still impressive somehow and it is now a well known place in the PSI and paranormal scene.



Many many strange rumors and creepy stories do surround this building. After WW II it was sold by it's owners and became kind of a psychiatric hospital for mental ill children and young adults. Two children disappeared all of a sudden and were later found dead, buried in the garden behind the mansion. There is a little garden house behind Schloß Wolfskuhlen and it's been said that children were keeped prisoned and tortured there by the nurses. You can still see childrens paintings on it's walls.



Many people are saying, that Schloß Wolfskuhlen is a haunted place and that they experienced creepy and strange things there. Fact is, that it became a meeting point for Satanics and in the basement they're celebrating satanic rituals and worshipping the devil. Some people are saying that sometimes you can hear whispers and voices in the house and in the enchanted looking forrest around Schloß Wolfskuhlen and that you can see silhouettes and shadows in and around the building. The mansion, garden and forrest has been inspected by professional paranormal scientists many times and even them are saying that it is kind of a special place... All I want to say is, that it is an interesting place and worth to visit in my opinion. Also I'm happy to announce that the "Pink Windows" pic which you can see on the very end of this news site appears as the background on 1,500 flyers in and around the city of Essen, Germany. The flyer is an add for a Rave or Hip Hop Party or something. Don't ask me for details, I don't have a clue. I'm only the photographer.

A local free magazine, where you can find concert dates and other cultural stuff, asked me if I could take photos of some signature places of my hometown so they can use them for a story in one of their upcoming issues.
